First of all I’ve got good, good news! God loves you. In fact he loves each of us so much that he sent his sinless son, Jesus, to provide for us what we can’t do for ourselves – forgiveness of all our sins and salvation for our souls and eternal life in Heaven.
The Bible says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). is it any wonder the Angelic Messengers shared the news with those shepherds that starry night some 2000 years ago – “For behold I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people, for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord.(Luke 2:11)
All of us need to know the good news about Jesus, the Savior, because “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
All we have to do is make a heart decision to receive the gift of salvation by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. When you do that you become “born again” (II Corinthians 5:17) and the Holy Spirit takes up residence in your Spirit to guide your new and exciting walk with your Heavenly Father. Pray a prayer something like this:”Father, I know I have sinned against you. I believe that Jesus is your son, that he died for my sins, and that he rose from the dead to prove it. I accept your offer of salvation and eternal life.” If you sincerely prayed this prayer you are now part of God’s family.
Now, as you open the Bible and read, you will begin to know Jesus Christ in a personal way. As this personal relationship develops you will realize you have found your GARDEN and as you cultivate it (spend time getting to know God through the Word of God and prayer) your life will blossom into a life of beauty.
