Psalm 103
“Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all His benefits; who forgives all your iniquities; who
heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies. Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so the your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”.
The rhythm of life…you have to stop sometimes and just listen for the rhythm. It is so easy to get out of synch – off the beat and find ourselves playing sour notes – discordant harmonies. When that happens in a symphonic rehearsal the conductor says “stop” and searches for the discord. When we feel we have lost the “beat” we need to stop and find the correct rhythm or sour note and fix it. Then, once again our life becomes a symphony to everyone around us.
Following are thoughts from the Lord….from my own journaling…..
“I love you deeply – beyond your comprehension. I am everything you need or could ever desire. Life is in my words. Health is in my words. Wealth is in my words. Feed on these words and you will be nourished. Your soul will become healthy, fat and satisfied. You will not seek anything else for your happiness or satisfaction – you will be completely full and content as long as you eat at my table. Don’t be drawn away by delicacies at other tables. They look like dessert but they turn bitter when you eat them.”
…”.Be a gleaner. Overlook the parts of any ministry that doesn’t work for you – look for what God IS saying to you. You will never find the perfect church or perfect ministry. Learn to search for my voice in the midst of the many voices that come to you. ”
” Be a discerner and learn to hear my voice in the midst of your daily activities. Remember I said “I will never leave you nor forsake you” – which means I am always there. I long to have conversation with you. The more you train yourself to turn your thoughts to me – the sooner you will learn to recognize my voice and respond to me.
As you read my words – they will become food for your soul, light for your path, comfort for your pain.
..don’t be discouraged when you have failed to hear me – or mistook your desires and thoughts as mine. Keep on listening – you will prefect your ability to follow me. Sometimes you have asked me to say things to you and I could not – it wasn’t time for you to know the answer. Just be confident that I have promised to direct your paths and I will do it – trust me”

Really liked the idea of listening for the rhythm of life & getting rid of the discordant note(s) –& being enabled to do this through taking in the riches of His word!!
Carmen, thank you for your words written on Feb. 9th. Once again, I am blessed by your inspirational writings. The words that you journaled were from the Lord and are always thought provoking. The uplifting words in Psalm 103 not too long ago were remembered again and made me realize once more that we truly serve a mighty and awesome God! He is our all in all and wants to be first in our lives, always.
I’m so grateful for all His many blessings throughout my life. His goodness, His strength, His peace, during those difficult times in life..and I plan to feed at His table and allow His precious words to fill my heart and nourish me more & more in the days ahead. Both my dear husband and I feel that desire to draw closer to Him during these troubled times. Again, my many thanks, my sister in Christ.
